Festival Tour Itinerary

3 Days / 2 Nights of Royal Monsoon Celebrations

1 Day 1: Arrival, River Cruise & Welcome Hilsa Feast
  • Morning: AC pickup from Kolkata / Canning station transfer to Godkhali Ferry Ghat.
  • 10:30 AM: Board river safari boat with welcome coconut water and breakfast (Luchi, Alur Dom, Sweets).
  • Lunch Onboard: Steamed Rice, Sonamug Dal, Begun Bhaja, Ilish Bhaja with Tel, Shorshe Ilish, Chatni & Papad.
  • Afternoon: Visit Hamilton Sahib Bungalow, Rabindranath Tagore heritage memorial, and Gosaba island market.
  • Evening: Check-in at luxury riverside resort. Tea/snacks accompanied by traditional Jhumur tribal dance performance.
  • Dinner: Rice/Roti, Dal, Sabzi, Ilish Begun Jhol or Chicken Curry, and sweet Rosogolla.
2 Day 2: Deep Mangrove Wildlife Safari & Royal Hilsa Banquet
  • 6:30 AM: Board river safari for an early morning core delta cruise into Pirkhali and Gazikhali creeks.
  • Sightseeing: Sajnekhali Watch Tower (Mangrove Interpretive Center & Crocodile Pond), Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower, and Dobanki Canopy Walk.
  • Grand Festival Lunch: Basmati Rice / Khichuri, Bhapa Ilish, Ilish Paturi wrapped in banana leaf, Doi Ilish, salad, Payesh.
  • Evening: Cruise along the confluence of five rivers at Panchamukhani. Bonfire gathering with folk Baul music.
  • Dinner: Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken / Veg Paneer, mixed salad, and sweets.
3 Day 3: Sunrise Cruise, Sweet Water Pond & Return
  • Morning: Village walk around Gosaba delta to observe local mud-house culture and honey collectors.
  • Breakfast: Poha / Paratha, boiled eggs, tea and coffee.
  • Farewell Lunch: Rice, Dal, Tok Jhal Ilish, salad, Chatni, Papad.
  • Afternoon: Return to Godkhali ghat and drop-off back at Kolkata.
